Cam Gregory (Accokeek, Md./The Steward School [Va.]), a member of the Saint Francis men's basketball team, has been named a Northeast Conference (NEC) Prime Performer for the week of January 9-17. It is the sixth time this season he has been selected as a Prime Performer.

Gregory averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the Red Flash, including posting a Red Flash team and career-high 25 points along with four rebounds and four assists against FDU on Monday. Along with being the most points scored by a Frankie this season, it was the second-most points scored in the NEC over the weekend. The sophomore shot 52.0 percent (13-for-25) from the floor and 50.0 percent (5-for-10) from behind the arc. Gregory started the week with eight points, five rebounds and five assists against CCSU on Saturday.

Gregory leads the team with 11 double-figure scoring games, including seven games with at least 15 points. His three 20-point games are the most on the team this season. The sophomore ranks ninth in the NEC in scoring (13.5 ppg.), third in minutes played, 12th in 3-point percentage (.347), 12 in 3-pointers made (1.53), 13th in assists (2.41).

Gregory was also named an NEC Prime Performer for the weeks of three, five, six, seven and eight. Freshman
Eli Wilborn (Middletown, Conn./Middletown [South Kent]) is second on the team with three Prime Performer selections this season after selections in weeks four, five and nine, while fello freshmenÂ

Saint Francis has also had four players named NEC Rookie of the Week for a total of six of the 10 weeks thus far this season. Wilborn has been tabbed as the top rookie three times, while Lopez, Rosenberger and
Aaron "Ace" Talbert (Wyandanch, N.Y./Scotland Campus (Pa.) [Combine Academy [N.C.]) have earned one selection each. The Frankies have won 14 NEC Rookie of the Week honors in the last two seasons.
