>> Mia DiGenova made three saves and registered her second win in overtime this season.

TURNING POINTS OF THE MATCH
After the Bald Eagles scored consecutive goals to take a 2-1 lead, Marciano tied the game at two at 57:05 for her second goal. The Red Flash had a penalty corner in the final 71 seconds of regulation, but no team had a scoring opportunity before Hager's game-winner.

FLASH MOMENTS

De Castro got the scoring started on the afternoon 41 seconds into the second half after Cruz Canepa inserted the ball to Waldspurger before de Castro finished off Waldspurger's shot.

FLASH NUGGETS

Hager, who was making her first collegiate start on the afternoon, notched her first career tally on her fifth shot of the season. She became the second freshman to register as a game-winner this season after Canepa recorded the game-winner against Mercyhurst on September 13.

Marciano has recorded both her tallies on the road after notching her first career game at Queens on September 20. Canepa now has a goal and four assists for six points.

De Castro posted her team-leading eighth goal of the season and just her second goal that did not occur on a Friday in her career. Seven of her eight goals have taken place on the road this season. The sophomore now has 11 goals and three assists for 25 points in her career.

Waldspurger recorded her second assist on the weekend and scored a tally against Rider on Friday.

DiGenova recorded her second overtime win after playing all 80 minutes in a 3-2 win against Ball State in the season opener.

Saint Francis is 8-5 for the second time in program history and the first since 2015 for the third-best start for the Red Flash.

The start of the match was delayed for over an hour due to lightning.
