>> Saint Francis cross country concluded the regular season by competing at the Canisius Alumni Classic hosted by Canisius University on Saturday.
>> The women's team placed 2nd out of 7 teams with 40 points, just one point under first place Canisius (39).
>> The men's team took 5th out of 11 teams with 149 points.

FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
In all four regular season meets, the women have placed in the top-5, with today's 2nd place mark being the best out of the four.
Two women finished in the top-5 individually.
Naomi Hillen (17:57.5) and
Anna Quackenbush (18:04.4) paced the team in 3rd and 5th place, respectively. The two posted career-bests in terms of time in the 5k and overall finish.
Tesslyn Helms crossed the finish line one spot behind Quackenbush in 6th with a 5k personal-best time of 18:08.8.
To round out the top-5,
Morgan McNaughton came in 12th with a time of 18:32.6.
Mariclare Anderson took 22nd with a time of 19:04.4. McNaughton and Anderson each registered career-bests in 5k time and overall finish.
In total, 12 runners tallied personal-bests in the 5k.
FLASH MEN NUGGETS
Shane Curran paced the men's team, finishing 28th with a time of 26:35.8.
Aaron Tressler placed four spots behind Curran in 32nd with a time of 29:49.4.
Rounding out the top-3 was
Joseph Piccirillo, who took 38th with an 8k personal-best time of 27:08.7.
Andrew McGee registered a 45th place finish as the fourth-best runner with a time of 27:39.7.
Ethan Shuagis rounded out the top-5 by claiming 56th with a time of 28:13.5.
Six runners finished the meet with personal-best times in the 8k.
