FLASH NUGGETS

It is the third time this season and the fourth time in de Castro's career she has scored two goals in a game. DeCastro has 10 goals, two assists for 22 points this season, and 13 goals and three assists for 29 points in her career. It is the 15th time in program history a player has had 10 goals in a season to rank eighth in program history, and she is the ninth different player to reach double figures in goals in a season.

Waldspurger has scored multiple goals for the third time in her career and her second-straight game against Wagner after posting two tallies against the Seahawks last season in Loretto. The junior captain has six goals and five assists for 17 points this season and 13 goals and 12 assists for 38 points in her career. The 38 points are tied with Zavaleta for 11th place in program history.

Canepa, who leads the team with seven assists, joins Zavaleta (at LIU, October 9, 2022), Nikki Snyder (at Rider, September 1, 2014) with three assists in a game, while Selena Adamstick holds the program record with four helpers against Colgate on September 14, 2014. Also that season, 12 days later, Carissa Makea and Autumn Pellman became the last set of teammates to score multiple goals in the same game until Sunday.

Zavaleta is on the doorstep of the Top 10 in points and assists for her career. She has 38 points and can crack the Top 10 with one more point, while her 18 assists are one helper shy of the Top 10 in that category.

Saint Francis falls in overtime at the Wagner Field Hockey Complex for the second-straight match. The Red Flash fell 1-0 in overtime to Sacred Heart last season in the NEC Semifinals on that field.
