LORETTO, Pa. - Saint Francis women's soccer fell to Wagner at home 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
After knocking the ball around the box, Wagner put a shot home in the 30th minute to take the lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Both sides traded chances early on in the match. The Red Flash had back-to-back corners in the fourth minute but couldn't produce from it.
Wagner opened the scoring in the 30th minute to take the lead.
Sawich made a great save on a low driven shot from a free kick in the 37th minute to keep the deficit at one.
Four minutes later, Lauren Pyle nearly equalized the match in the 41st minute on a header, but her shot was saved.
Out of the break, Sawich made another high-class save on a Wagner volley from close range.
Kendziora, Mercedez Paino and Maridza Desir all had chances to equalize in the final 20 minutes but could not convert.
The Red Flash were unable to find the leveler before time ran out.
FLASH NUGGETS
Pyle has now had four consecutive matches in which she has gotten all of her shots on target.
Sawich has now saved at least 75 percent of shots on target in 11 out of 15 matches this season.
With nine saves, Sawich has now made at least eight saves in a match four times this season.
