Saint Francis Cheer And Dance 2024-25 Preview

Loretto, Pa. - The Saint Francis University cheerleading and dance teams are gearing up for another exciting season following a successful year of cheering on the Red Flash football and basketball teams. Both squads have been ramping up their practices and fundraising efforts in preparation for their upcoming competitions.

The cheer team, which boasts 16 dedicated members, is eager to continue their tradition of high energy performances and school spirit. The dance team boasts 17 talented dancers and are also looking forward to showcasing their skills and entertaining the crowd.

In addition to the main teams, Saint Francis has also formed practice teams for students who wish to continue their cheer and dance training without the full commitment of performing at games. These practice teams provide students a valuable opportunity for students to develop their skills and stay active in the cheer and dance community.

Frankie the Friar, the beloved Saint Francis mascot, is back for another season of cheering on the Red Flash and interacting with fans. Frankie's enthusiastic presence adds to the excitement and energy of Saint Francis sporting events.

The cheer and dance teams are actively involved in fundraising efforts throughout the year to support their programs and travel to competitions. They also participate in community service projects and giving back to the Saint Francis community and beyond
