SELECT GAME NOTES VS. COPPIN STATEÂ (FULLÂ GAME NOTES PDF)
FRANKIES TIDBITS IN A FLASH
• Tuesday's game between Saint Francis and Coppin State marks the sixth meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 2010-11 season. The Eagles have won the last three contests since the series was renewed in 2021-22 to grab a 3-2 edge in the all-time series. The last Red Flash win was a 69-67 win in Baltimore in 2011.
• The Red Flash is 13-14 against the MEAC and 5-8 away from Loretto. The team is looking for its first road win against the conference since defeating Coppin State 69-67 in Baltimore in 2011-12. It would end a two-game losing streak on the road against the Patriot League with a loss at Coppin State (2021-22) and Morgan State (2023-24) since that 2011-12 win. Head coach
Keila Whittington is 1-4 against the league, with a win against Morgan State on December 2, 2023 on her resume.
• Saint Francis is 56-71 against teams from Maryland and 24-45 on the road. In non-conference play, the Red Flash is 16-32 against the Old Line State. The bulk of the games against teams from Maryland were against Mount St. Mary's when the Mountaineers were a member of the Northeast Conference. In addition, five games against Loyola happened when the Greyhounds were part of the ECAC Metro, which later became known as the NEC. Whittington is 3-12 against the state of Maryland and 2-6 in games played.
• The Red Flash will play three teams from Maryland in the next 13 days. After Tuesday's game in Baltimore, the squad will host Loyola on November 17 and travel down to College Park on November 24. Saint Francis will also host UMBC on December 8.
• The Red Flash returns to action to start a two-game homestand with a Kid's Day Out Game against Canisius on Friday.
AN SFU WIN WOULD
• Be the team's first win of the season
• Be the first Red Flash non-conference win on the road since defeating Towson 78-69 at Towson on December 22, 2020.
• Improve to 1-0 against the state of Maryland, a state that the Red Flash will play four times in non-conference play (the squad will also play fellow Keystone state teams four times this year too)
• Win the first of four Kid's Day Out games scheduled this season
ABOUT THE EAGLES
• Coppin State comes into the contest 1-1 after falling 70-47 at Maryland on Thursday. The Red Flash will travel to College Park to take on the Terps on November 24.

Johnson is tied for the team lead in scoring with 7.5 points per game.
•Sophomore

The sophomore is seeing her first collegiate action after missing her freshman campaign due to an injury. Bell had seven points in her collegiate debut against NJIT on November 4.
• Freshman
Ineivi Plata made her first collegiate start against Lafayette and stuffed the stat sheet with six points, six rebounds, and two assists. Plata is averaging 5.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in the season's first two games. She fueled the team with four assists against NJIT.
