FLASH QUOTES
Keila Whittington opening statement: "When you look at the stat sheet, during the first, third and fourth quarters, we were right in the game against the preseason favorite in the Patriot League. We just have to lock in. We talked about the fourth quarter and the lapses that we had. It's a consistency thing with us right now. We have to be consistent every quarter."
Lavy on her career-high 16 point game: "I'm just proud of myself. I know I came into this game with a lot of confidence. Definitely wanted to get the win as a team, although we fell short. I think everyone played very well today. Looking at the stat sheet, we have a couple of things we need to work on. I know this team will get right back on the court and figure out how to improve in those areas. I know we'll always give it our best."
Yanessa Boyd on the leadership of the team: "It's very important. We lost one of our captains (
Kameryn Dorsey) for the year, so it's a matter of everyone stepping up. We have a group of leaders. We express that everyone can speak up. We're all looking towards the same goal."
