TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The game started out close, with Rhode Island holding a mere 7-4 lead after two Johnson free throws at the 5:21 mark. The Rams would proceed to close out the first quarter with a 10-2 run to go up 17-6. They continued their momentum into the second by outscoring Saint Francis 18-8 to take a 35-14 lead going into the half.
Rhode Island outscored the Red Flash 22-15 in the third quarter, and would outscore them 20-8 in the fourth on their way to the win.
