In the loss to Villanova, the Red Flash had a steep task, down 6-1 at halftime. Saint Francis outscored the Wildcats 7-4 in the second half, but Villanova's early lead put the win just out of reach for Saint Francis.
Down 7-5 to the Bison at the end of the third quarter, three different members of the Red Flash scored to put Saint Francis ahead. First, Kayla Rhoads (Oceanside, Calif.) tallied her second goal o the game. Just over a minute later, Emese Szucs (Budapest, Hungary) scored her sole goal to tie the game at seven apiece. With 2:32 remaining in the game, Sam Eschleman (Reading, Pa.) found the back of the net to give the Red Flash a one-goal lead. Isabel Lumley (Brisbane, Australia) made a couple of key saves, locking up the win over the host team.

With 2:17 left in the game,
Adi Garges (Perkasie, Pa.) narrowed Villanova's lead to 10-7. On an exclusion on the Wildcats, Szucs found the back of the net. Szucs then scored the final goal of the game with 16 seconds left in the game to make the final result a one-goal game.
The Red Flash outscored the Bison 4-2 in the first half.
Caylah Olay (Redondo Beach, Calif.) notched the first goal of the game before scoring again with 3:19 left in the second quarter.
Kimberly Frostad broke a 1-1 tie in the first quarter with :55 left in the quarter. Rhoad's first goal of the game was scored with 4:29 left in the first half.
FLASH NUGGETS
Szucs led in scoring against the Wildcats with three goals. Olay tallied three goals of her own against Bucknell to lead her team.
Rhoads was close behind Olay with two goals in the win.
