TURNING POINTS
Saint Francis kept the game close in the first quarter, down only three against a nationally ranked opponent in Wagner at 7-4. The Red Flash had goals by
Kayla Rhoads (Oceanside, Calif.),
Sarah Hartwell (Grand Blanc, Mich.),
Sam Eschleman (Reading, Pa.) and
Emese Szucs (Budapest, Hungary) in the second and third quarters, but the Seahawks outscored Saint Francis 11-4 after the first quarter.
The Mountaineers was up 10-5 entering the fourth quarter, scoring two more goals before the Red Flash could respond. Saint Francis outscored Mount St. Mary's 4-3 in the fourth quarter but could not come out from under the lead of the Mountaineers.
FLASH MOMENTS
Eschleman and Szucs recorded the Red Flash's only goals in the second half.
In the back half of the final quarter, Caylah Olay (Redondo Beach, Calif.) was on fire, scoring three goals in the last 2:36 of the game.
FLASH NUGGETS
Olay led Saint Francis in scoring against Wagner and Mount St. Mary's with three goals and four goals, respectively. Eschleman tallied two against the Seahawks and scored another three against the Mountaineers.

Saint Francis will travel to Indiana to play in the Indiana Invite next weekend, facing Michigan, California Baptist, Indiana and Iona.
