SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Saint Francis University softball earned its third shutout victory in a row with a 4-0 win over Wofford. The Red Flash earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament weekend and defeated the Terriers in Sunday's championship game.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
» Both teams combined for three baserunners through the first three innings before Saint Francis broke through in the fourth.
» With two outs in the innings, Nash hot a two-run double after a Wofford error and
Rachel Marsden single that gave the Red Flash a 2-0 lead.
» Wofford produced runners on second and third in the sixth inning but Vesco got a strikeout to end the inning.
» After Vesco escaped the jam, two runs came across in the seventh inning on a Wilson single. Vesco retired the side in the bottom half to clinch Saint Francis' undefeated weekend at the Wofford Invitational.
