Down 10-4 at halftime against the Hoosiers, Indiana scored four unanswered goals in the third quarter for a daunting 14-4 lead.
(Regina, Saskatchewan) found the back of the net in the fourth quarter, but Saint Francis was outscored 5-1, ensuring a win for the host team.
The game came down to the wire with Saint Francis down only 8-6 going into the final frame against Iona. Iona struck first, but Kayla Rhoads (Oceanside, Calif.) responded to keep the game within two goals. With less than two minutes to go, the Lancers scored to extend their lead to three. After Saint Francis called a timeout with 10 seconds to go, goalkeeper Isabel Lumley (Brisbane, Australia) tallied a goal to make the final score 10-8.

Emese Szucs (Budapest, Hungary) scored with one second left in the second quarter to make the score 10-4 at halftime.
With a little over two minutes to play in the opening quarter against Iona, the Red Flash outscored the Lancers 3-2 to tie the game at three goals apiece. Georgia Ellison (Canberra, Australia) scored first for Saint Francis. Iona tallied one of their own, but Szucs responded 23 seconds later. Adi Garges (Perkasie, Pa.) scored to give Saint Francis the lead, but a goal by Iona tied the score going into the second quarter.
