CONWAY, Ark. – Saint Francis University softball fell 11-10 in extra innings to Central Arkansas after a 5-0 loss to Chattanooga to open the weekend.

TURNING POINTS OF GAME ONE
» Saint Francis and Chattanooga combined for just four hits through five scoreless innings to begin the game.
» The Mocs broke through in the sixth inning with back-to-back two-out bases-loaded walks that opened a 2-0 lead. Chattanooga added its final run on an infield single and led 3-0. Â
» Chattanooga added two more runs in the seventh inning behind a run on a fielder's choice and a double steal. Â
» Down 5-0 in the seventh, Saint Francis loaded the bases with one out but could not score a run before Chattanooga clinched its victory.

TURNING POINTS OF GAME TWO
» The Red Flash scored the first run after Ulam scored on a wild pitch in the first inning. Central Arkansas responded with a two-run bottom half behind an error and bases loaded walk and took a 2-1 lead.
» Saint Francis then produced a five-run second inning that started with an RBI single from
Ashley Wruble and RBI double from Ulam. Marsden followed with a bases-loaded walk before Baker hit an RBI single to give Saint Francis a 6-2 lead.
» Baker continued the scoring in the fourth inning on a Central Arkansas throwing error to open a 7-2 lead.
» The Bears got two runs back in the sixth inning after an RBI groundout and infield single that cut the Red Flash lead to 7-4.
» Central Arkansas then rallied in the seventh inning for three runs behind a two-run double and Saint Francis error to tie the game at seven and force extra innings.
» In the eighth inning, Saint Francis produced a three-run inning with all of the runs scored on Central Arkansas throwing errors.
» The Bears then earned its victory behind a four-run eighth inning on an RBI single, two run double and RBI groundout that sealed the walk-off.

» Ulam recorded a career-high ninth double in the game against Central Arkansas. She has recorded one double in nine of the 17 games played this season.
