Rachel Marsden threw a no-hitter in Saint Francis 14-0 five-inning game two victory over FDU after
Grace Vesco threw a one-hitter in a 3-0 game one win.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
» Marsden (14-5) threw a no-hitter in five innings and allowed one walk with six strikeouts. She went 5-for-7 at the plate with one run scored.
» Vesco (14-6) allowed one hit in seven innings with one walk and a season-high 12 strikeouts.

Savannah Nash went 5-for-8 with four runs scored, one home run and four RBIs.

Ashley Wruble went 2-for-5 with one run scored, one double and one RBI.

Lexi Hernandez and
Olivia Ulam each recorded two hits and three RBIs, while Hernandez added one home run.
TURNING POINTS OF GAME ONE
» Saint Francis recorded the only three hits of the game through six scoreless innings with Vesco and FDU pitcher Brooklyn Shroyer in a pitchers' duel.
» The Red Flash broke through on a two-out three-run Nash home run in the top of the seventh.
» Vesco carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning before a one-out single broke the hitless streak. With Vesco able to produce two outs on the infield, Saint Francis earned its shutout victory.
TURNING POINTS OF GAME TWO
» The Red Flash scored early and often in game two of the doubleheader and started the scoring with a Hernandez RBI double and
Sydney Baker RBI single in the second inning for a 2-0 lead.
» Saint Francis broke the game open in the third inning with an eight-run effort. Ulam began the scoring with an RBI triple, followed by a Nash RBI single. Hernandez followed the next at-bat with a two-run home run that opened a 6-0 lead.
» After Saint Francis loaded the bases,
Aliya Garroway recorded a pinch-hit RBI single, followed by a Wruble bases-loaded walk for an 8-0 lead.
» Ulam capped off the third inning scoring with a two-run single that opened a 10-0 lead.
» A scoreless fourth inning was followed by a four-run Red Flash fifth inning.
Hannah Bendle drove in the first run with a pinch-hit RBI single and Baker hit an RBI groundout for a 12-0 lead.

Annabelle Farmer hit an RBI double to left center that drove home Bendle and
Ashley Orischak hit a sacrifice fly to cap the scoring and open a 14-0 lead.
» Marsden took a perfect game into the fifth before she allowed a two-out walk. The next batters grounded into a fielder's choice to seal the run-rule victory and Marsden no-hitter.
FLASH NUGGETS
» Marsden recorded her second-career no-hitter and her first since she no-hit Merrimack on April 2, 2021. It was Saint Francis' first no-hitter of the season.
» Vesco's 12 strikeouts were a season-high that broke her previous mark of 10 set on April 6 against Central Connecticut. She recorded her fourth one-hitter of the season and 10th of her career.
» Hernandez now has at least one home run in four straight conference series. She has four home runs and 13 RBIs in her last nine games.
» Saint Francis had a season-high 18 hits during game two. It led to Saint Francis' eighth run-rule victory in 17 conference games.
