Saint Francis's efforts held strong in the final quarter. On their first possession of the fourth quarter,
Sam Eschleman (Reading, Pa.) pushed the Red Flash lead to seven goals.
Isabel Lumley (Brisbane, Australia) blocked two penalty shots, helping to keep the Red Flash up 12-5. Bucknell was able to cut the Saint Francis lead to six, but the Red Flash remained on top.

Saint Francis scored three unanswered goals in the first quarter.
Caylah Olay (Redondo Beach, Calif.) found the back of the net less than a minute into the game.
Kayla Rhoads (Oceanside, Calif.) scored a goal of her own before Olay tallied her second of the day.
The Red Flash scored four goals to give the team an 8-4 lead into halftime. Szucs got the ball past the Bison's goalie early in the quarter, earning her second goal of the day just under two minutes later on a powerplay. Between goals from Szucs, Lucy Willis (Ft. Thomas, Ky.) notched a goal herself. Sarah Hartwell (Grand Blanc, Mich.) scored as well with just over three minutes left. To close out scoring in the first half, Olay found the back of the net for her third goal of the day.
The Red Flash outscored Bucknell 4-1 in the third quarter. Georgia Ellison (Canberra, Australia) scored the first goal of the quarter with 5:43 remaining. Forty seconds later, Olay tallied back-to-back goals with less than a minute between them to give Saint Francis an 11-5 lead.
FLASH NUGGETS
Olay led Saint Francis in scoring with five goals. Szucs ended her collegiate career with a pair of goals. Five members of the Red Flash tallied a goal each in the final game of the year.
Lumley tallied 12 saves in the win for Saint Francis.
