The two teams proceeded to exchange points until it was 24-21 going into the match point. Sam Lane finished the game with the kill to give Saint Francis the 3-1 win.
FLASH MOMENTS
The opening set was controlled by Saint Francis, with the squad getting out to a fast 9-2 lead and increasing it to as high as 17-7. The closest D'Youville would make the score was 24-19, but a service error by Sebastian Herbst ended set one with the Red Flash taking a 1-0 lead.
Set two saw the Red Flash get out to an early 6-4 advantage, but D'Youville would proceed to go on an 11-2 run to go up 15-8. Saint Francis went on a 9-3 rally of their own to cut the deficit to 18-17, but they could never reclaim the lead. The Saints went on to win set two, 25-22.
The Red Flash got out to a quick 8-3 start in the third set, a lead they would never relinquish. D'Youville tried to rally, making the scores as close as 12-10 and 17-14, but Saint Francis responded to the comeback attempt with a 6-2 run to go up 23-16. The team carried the momentum to a 25-19 set three victory to go up two sets to one.
FLASH NUGGETS
With two wins next week, the Red Flash can become the first team in program history to go unbeaten in conference play during the regular season.
Brady Stump racked up seven kills and tallied five aces for the second straight match.
Ryan Parker ended the match with 43 assists, and led an offense that posted 52 kills and a .340 hitting percentage. The senior setter tacked on four digs for the defense.

Men's Volleyball wraps up the regular season with a season series against FDU April 12-13. The match on the 13th will be senior day.
