Women's Soccer Preps To Host Cleveland State

Loretto, Pa.- Saint Francis women's soccer is back in action on Sunday Sep. 1 when Cleveland State comes to town. The Red Flash will be looking to remain atop the Northeast Conference (NEC) table and build upon their 1-0 win over Robert Morris on Thursday afternoon.
 
OPENING KICKOFF
 
Saint Francis enters the contest at 2-1-1 after beating Robert Morris for the first time since 2021.
 
Mercedez Paino, Anouk Landgraff and Lauren Pyle each have two points from their respective goals this season. Raine Korpics, Tomke Dziesiaty and Evangelia Barakos each have a point from their assists on said goals. Korpics leads the team with seven shots so far this season.
 
Emma Sawich has a .833 save percentage and 15 saves through four games.
 
Sawich, Kendziora, Pyle, Paino, Rory Schaeffer, Alyssa Mella and Joy Zeeman all have logged at least 300 minutes so far this season, with Pyle, Sawich and Schaeffer playing every single minute so far this season.

The Vikings enter the match seeking their first win of the campaign, starting 0-4.
 
Mayra Sesmas and Sophia Cuccheti are tied for the team lead in goals and points so far this season with a goal and two points apiece.
