Pittsburgh, Pa.- Saint Francis women's tennis began the 2024-25 season at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1. The Red Flash went 13-10 in singles matches and 6-10 in doubles matches.
 
Diana Zuba, Dasha Chichkina, Sophia Cunningham, Lindsey Greb and Morgan Tuffs all went unbeaten in singles. 

The tandem of Kelly Dowuona and Kally Kadzinski picked up right where they left off last season with four wins from four doubles matches throughout the tournament. The pair has now won seven of their last eight contests.

Cunningham, Greb, Tuffs and Chichkina all won their first collegiate matches at the tournament. 
 
Zuba, the reigning NEC Rookie of the Year, All-NEC Rookie Team and All-NEC First Team selection has now won five singles matches in a row dating back to Apr. 4 and 14 of her last 16 completed singles matches dating back to Feb. 11.
 
Saint Francis women's tennis returns to action at the Quinnipiac Invitational from Sept. 6-8.
