TURNING POINTS OF THE MATCH
Davidson scored in the 19th minute for the only goal of the match.

FLASH MOMENTS
Waldspurger and Grace Reed had shots blocked by the defense in the first quarter. Myers had the first chance that the Davidson goalkeeper stopped in the second quarter. Myers had two chances blocked, Waldspurger's first scoring chance was blocked, and her second chance in the quarter turned away, while Hannah Capo missed wide in the third quarter. Chloe Butz gave the Red Flash its only scoring opportunity in the final frame and had her shot stopped in the 49th minute.

FLASH NUGGETS

DiGenova has allowed a goal or less in each of her last five games and has played all but 15 minutes in that stretch. The sophomore has two solo shutouts and a combined shutout and allowed a goal in two matches in that span. The defense has allowed 23 shots, and DiGenova has made nine saves in the last five games.

The loss ends a four-game winning streak for the Red Flash. It was the sixth time in the program's history that the team won four or more games in a row in program history. At 5-3 on the year, the team is off to its third-best start in program history and matches the start of the 2012 and 2018 teams.

Saint Francis and Davidson played against each other when Saint Francis was a member of the Atlantic 10 from 2013-19. The Red Flash had won the last three in the series coming into Sunday's matchup.
