TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Following an outstanding defensive display by Saint Francis in the first half, freshman forward, Lambert, quickly broke the deadlock with her fourth goal of the season early in the second half. That score would go on to propel the Red Flash to its fourth straight home win and sixth straight NEC victory.
FLASH MOMENTSÂ
The always impressive junior goaltender, DiGenova, had yet another lights-out showcase, stopping four shots on goal to keep the Pioneers silent. With her eighth door slamming performance, the upperclassmen netminder is tied with Samantha Zeiders for the second most shutouts in a single season. Additionally,  DiGenova's Goals Against Average for the season is 1.33, with a .762 save percentage, ranking third and fifth all-time on the single-season chart.
FLASH NUGGETS
With today's win, Saint Francis reaches the 12-win mark in a single season for the third time in program history. The best single-season record was set back in 2014 with 14 wins, with Stacey Bean at the helm.Â
Building on today's victory, the Saint Francis Red Flash have set a new record by extending their winning streak to nine consecutive games, the longest in the program's history. The previous record was eight straight wins at the start of the 2014 season under Stacey Beam.
