Carlos Cheruiyot (Boulder, Colo./Niwot) led the Saint Francis men's team with a time of 25:16.6. He finished in 15th place to earn his first Rookie of the Week. He paced the men's team to finish third collegiately (fourth overall), with a score of 182.
Cheruiyot, Aaron Tressler, Anna Quackenbush, Morgan McNaughton, and Rosie Gaydos were all named NEC Prime Performers. Tressler finished in 22nd place with a time of 25:40.4.
Quackenbush, the junior, finished as the top collegiate female runner (second overall), with a time of 21:32.4. This is her fourth NEC Prime Performer award this year alone.
McNaughton ran close behind Quackenbush placing eighth with a time of 22:08.0.
Gaydos finished in 15th place with a time of 22:18.6.
Quackenbush, McNaughton, and Gaydos helped Saint Francis's women's team end as the top collegiate team (second overall) during the invitational with a score of 96.
The Red Flash will host the NEC Championships Saturday, November 1 at B & D Acres in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
