WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Carnegie Mellon scored the game-winning basket with 10.2 seconds left to defeat Saint Francis 55-53 in non-conference women's basketball action on Tuesday.
>> Sonia Sato registered her first career 20-point game in the loss. 
>>  It was the Red Flash annual Kids' Day Out game that brought 977 students from local schools to DeGol Arena. 

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Saint Francis trailed 53-41 with 6:48 left in the game before it went on a 12-0 run to tie the game at 53. Sato and Shelby Ricks each had five points in the spurt, while Aleah James tied the game at 53 with a running layup with 37.6 seconds left.

The Tartans scored the decisive basket with 10.2 seconds left and had the advantage of being called for only one foul in the fourth quarter up to that point, so they were able to foul Red Flash players to help the clock run out without Saint Francis getting a shot up.
 

FLASH NUGGETS
Sato, who never scored more than nine points in a game her first three years at Presbyterian, has registered double figures in three of the four games this season with her best output of the year with a career-high 22 points and eight rebounds.

James added 12 points and a career-high five steals. Just like Sato, she has posted double figures in points in three of the four games. James and Sato are the only two players on the roster that have 20-point games in a Red Flash uniform.
