Women's Water Polo to Take on CWPA Conference Crossover

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Women's water polo will be facing Harvard, Brown and Princeton in the CWPA Conference Crossover on Feb. 22-23.

>> All three matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

THE WORD ON HARVARD
Harvard is 7-1 and is currently on a five-match win streak. They are 1-0 in the CWPA after defeating Princeton 7-6 on Feb. 8. The Crimson are currently ranked No. 12 in the CWPA Top 25.

In their win over UC San Diego, Emma Gilbert led the Crimson with three goals. Orli Cooper recorded 11 saves in the win.

LAST TIME WE MET THE CRIMSON
Saint Francis is 0-14 against Harvard. The two teams last met in last year's CWPA Championships with Harvard winning 12-9.

Sam Eschleman and Emese Szucs each tallied four goals. Isabel Lumley recorded 11 saves.

THE WORD ON BROWN
The Bears are 6-6 overall and 0-1 in conference play. Brown is on a three-game winning streak after going 3-1 in the Bronco Invitational in Santa Clara, Calif. on Feb. 15-16. They currently sit at No. 24 in the CWPA Top 25.

Aubrie Anderson leads Brown with 17 goals. Somto Okafo has 33 saves to lead goalkeeping for the Bears.

LAST TIME WE MET THE BEARS
The Red Flash are 1-11 against the Bears. Saint Francis fell to Brown 9-8 in their last matchup.

Caylah Olay led scoring efforts in the game with four goals.

THE WORD ON PRINCETON
Princeton is 5-2 so far this season. They rank No. 13 in the CWPA Top 25 Poll. Most recently, the Tigers went 1-2 at the Harvard Invitational.

Kayla Yelensky leads the team with 27 goals. Lindsey Lucas has 74 saves to lead the Tigers.

LAST TIME WE MET THE TIGERS
The Tigers have the record advantage with Saint Francis at 0-12. Princeton won the last meeting 18-9.

Emese Szucs recorded four goals with Caylah Olay scoring two.

LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis went 3-1 at the Bucknell Invite on Feb. 8-9, defeating Mercyhurst, Mount St. Mary's and Siena.

Adi Garges, Isabel Lumley and Sophia Maioriello earned CWPA Honor Roll selections for their performances on the weekend.

UP NEXT
The Red Flash will play VMI and Salem in the Salem Invite in Morgantown, W. Va. on March 2.
