FLASH QUOTES
"Today's win meant more to this program than anyone could know. Both ends of the ball were able to compete for a full 60, and their desire to win showed throughout the game. I could not be more proud of this team and their ability to play for each other. They have bought in and are trusting the process." - head coach Morgan Gott on the game

FLASH MOMENTS
Saint Francis scored all three goals in the second quarter to take an 8-2 lead going into halftime. Lacey posted the first two scores at 13:09 and 6:43 before Julia Givens hit the back of the net off a helper by Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week Heather Delbone.

After Mak Patten scored for the second time this season at 12:34, Hewitt registered all four tallies in the third quarter. The freshman scored off a Roncarati pass at 6:58, an Elizabeth Mahmud feed at 5:05 and unassisted at 1:17 and with 28 seconds left in the frame to send the Red Flash to the fourth quarter with a 13-7 advantage.

Roncarati started a 4-0 run by Saint Francis in the fourth quarter unassisted at 6:33. Lacey then took the lead from Roncarati with a natural hat trick in 73 seconds thanks to finding the back of the net at 3:56, 3:30, and 2:43.

FLASH
NUGGETS
Lacey came into the game with four career hat tricks for the most goals she had scored. The seven goals are the 16th most in Red Flash single-game history after eight players tie with an eight-goal performance. The junior, who scored against Youngstown State on Sunday, added three ground balls, a caused turnover, and a draw control against the Dukes.

Roncarati tied a career-high for goals with her four scores. The senior scored four times against Canisius on February 23, 2022, in her first collegiate home game. It is also her second career game with at least three tallies. She has seven goals, five assists for 12 points in 2025, and 33 tallies and five assists for her career.

Hewitt also had her first career goal against the Penguins on Sunday, posted the most goals in a game by a freshman this year for the Red Flash, and now leads the freshman class with five goals and an assist for six points. Delbone had three tallies and two assists for five points.

A mid-year transfer from Saint Joesph's, Garcia registered the 11th most caused turnovers in a single game in team history with her four caused miscues. Like Lacey's goals, she narrowly missed a Top-10 number with eight players sitting in third place with five caused turnovers.

Taylor Coughlin made nine saves.

Givens led the team with five draw controls to accompany her one tally and a ground ball. Lily Robertson added three caused turnovers and a ground ball.

It was the 12th meeting against Duquesne and the first since the 2020 season. The victory on Saturday was the first win against the Dukes in program history.
