Ebensburg, Pa. – Both Saint Francis University Tennis teams defeated Lafayette in their respective matches on Sunday. The women won 4-3 and the men won 5-2.

Doubles
The Red Flash won the no. 1 doubles match, but dropped the no. 2 and no. 3 doubles contests to concede the doubles point to the Leopards.
Diana Zuba and Dasha Chichkina won the no. 1 doubles match 6-3. The pair are now 13-11 together this season.
Singles
Saint Francis won the no. 1, 2, 5 and 6 singles matches to win the match 4-3.
Zuba and Chichkina gave the Red Flash a 2-1 lead after securing victories in no. 1 and 2 matches.
The Leopards took the no. 3 and 4 singles matches, leaving the contest up to the final two singles spots.
Morgan Tuffs and Sophia Cunningham got the job done in the no. 6 and no. 5 matches respectively, with Cunningham earning the final point.
The four Red Flash players who won on Sunday all have winning records on the season. Zuba is 16-5, Chichkina is 14-5, Cunningham is 7-3 and Tuffs is 11-5.
Men's Results: Saint Francis 5, Lafayette 2.
Doubles
Alan Gonzalez and Gregory Troyan earned a 6-3 victory in the no. 1 doubles match, but the Red Flash dropped the doubles point after losses in the no. 2 and 3 matches.
The win improves Gonzalez's doubles record to 9-6 and gets Troyan back to .500 at 5-5.
Singles
Saint Francis won five of the six singles matches, only losing the no. 3 match. Gonzalez, Kevin Titus Suresh, Patrick Reese, Kevin Kruzel and Matt Kozar won the no. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 matches respectively.
Titus Suresh improved to a team-best 11-5 in singles on the year. Gonzalez and Reese also have winning records on the year at 9-7 and 5-4.
Flash Facts
Zuba won her 30th career singles match on Sunday against the Leopards and moved into a tie for 11th all-time in program history. The Marlboro, N.J. native has now won five singles matches in a row and two doubles matches in a row.
Gonzalez's two wins saw him reach 50 total career wins at Saint Francis, and he is now one singles win away from hitting the 30 for his career.
