Saint Francis To Hold NCAA Watch Party For Saint Francis Men's Basketball Team On Sunday Night

T-shirt, food and pictures with the trophy will be part of the event

For the first time in 34 years, Saint Francis men's basketball is the Northeast Conference Men's Basketball Champions and will be dancing in the NCAA Division I Tournament next week. The Red Flash will find out who, where, and when it will be playing during the NCAA Selection Show on CBS at 6 p.m. Saint Francis will be hosting a watch party for the Saint Francis community and fans of Red Flash basketball.

The watch party will begin at 5 p.m. at DeGol Arena on campus, and fans are invited to join the NEC Championships and learn its next destination by watching the Selection Show live at 6 p.m.. In addition, Saint Francis will be one of the schools featured on the CBS Selection Show, with a live look at our reaction after Saint Francis' name is revealed in the bracket.

The first 600 fans will receive a free t-shirt, and food and drinks will also be available. A photographer will also be available to take pictures with the 2025 NEC Championship trophy.

Saint Francis won its second NEC Tournament title after a 46-43 win against CCSU on Tuesday in New Britain. Sophomore Daemar Kelly (Pittsburgh, Pa.) put the Red Flash up for good on a basket with 9.8 seconds left. Freshman Juan Cranford, Jr. (Dayton, Ohio) was named the NEC Tournament Most Valuable Player and was joined on the All-Tournament team by junior Riley Parker (Mandurah, Australia).

Saint Francis won its first NCAA Tournament title in 1991 and played against Arizona in its first-ever trip to the big dance.
