Softball Falls in Series Finale to CCSU

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Softball falls to CCSU 2-0. The Blue Devils take the series advantage 2-1.

TURNING POINT
After scoring in the bottom of the third inning, CCSU hit a home run in the bottom of the sixth to take a 2-0 lead.

FLASH MOMENT
In the top of the second, Sofia Zielinski singled down the left field line. Aliya Garroway was walked and Annabelle Farmer was hit by a pitch for bases loaded, but the Red Flash could not take advantage of the scoring position.

FLASH NUGGETS
Olivia Ulam went 1-for-3 with a double in the top of the sixth. She also led the team with eight putouts.

Allie Braly pitched for six innings, allowing two earned runs with two strikeouts and two walks.
