>> Women's water polo is playing Long Beach State, Azusa Pacific, La Verne and Biola in their annual spring break trip on March 5-7.
Long Beach State is currently No. 7 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Varsity Top 25. The Beach are 8-8 this season.
Martina Cordona leads Long Beach State with 38 goals. Cardona and Elisa Portillo each have 12 steals this season. The Beach's goalkeepers have a combined 112 saves so far this season.
LAST TIME WE MET THE BEACH
The Red Flash have yet to win against the Beach, standing at 0-5. The two teams met in last year's Michigan Invitational, with Long Beach State winning 22-6.
Caylah Olay led Saint Francis in scoring with four goals.

Grace Raquel each tallied five saves against the Beach.
THE WORD ON AZUSA PACIFIC
The Cougars are 11-9 overall this season. Azusa Pacific went 3-1 at the Claremont Convergence this past weekend, including wins over La Verne, LIU and McKendree.
Jessie Nelson leads the Cougars with 42 goals on the season. Laia Marsinach Ortega has 33 steals to lead her team. Daniela Herrero Miralles has 159 saves this season.

Saint Francis and Azusa Pacific have only met once. Back in 2019, Â the Cougars won 12-7.
THE WORD ON LA VERNE
La Verne is 1-9 this season, ranking fifth in the CWPA Division III Top 10 poll. The Leopards lone win came against Redlands to open the season. They will play Caltech on March 5 before playing the Red Flash on the sixth.
Reiley Burton currently leads La Verne with 24 goals. Miranda Graham and Brianna Zapata lead the team with 11 steals. The Leopards goalkeepers have a combined 77 saves this season.
Saint Francis has a 5-1 advantage over La Verne. In their meeting last March, the Red Flash won 17-6.
Emese Szucs scored four goals in the win with
Sam Eschleman and
Caylah Olay tallying three each.
Grace Raquel recorded six saves and an assist between the pipes for Saint Francis.
THE WORD ON BIOLA
Biola has a 2-13 record this season with wins against La Verne and Whittier.
Veralie Naranjo leads the Eagles with 38 goals this season. Christina Cervantes has 17 steals to lead Biola. The Eagles' netminders have a combined 129 saves on the season.
LAST TIME WE MET THE EAGLES
This will be the first matchup between Saint Francis and Biola.
The Red Flash are 17-5 against members of the Western Water Polo Association.
LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis defeated VMI and Salem in the Salem Invite on March 2, winning 19-11 and 16-12.
Sam Eschleman led the Red Flash with eight goals on the day.
Eilis Rogis had seven saves against VMI, and
Grace Raquel made 11 saves against Salem.
