Salem is 9-17 overall with a 2-2 record against members of the Western Water Polo Association. The Tigers will also conclude their regular season in Saturday's match.
In their most recent outing, Salem went undefeated against McKendree, Gannon, Washington & Jefferson and Penn State Behrend in the WWPA Erie Weekend. Freshman Kristen Hemmila led scoring efforts with 11 goals on the weekend.
LAST TIME WE MET THE TIGERS
Saint Francis is 10-2 against Salem, defeating the Tigers in the last six matchups, including a 16-12 victory in last month's Salem Invite.
Sam Eschleman led scoring against Salem with five goals. Caylah Olay had four assists in the win. Grace Raquel was in net for the Red Flash, recording 11 saves, one goal and one assist.
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash went 0-4 against nationally ranked opponents in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Conference Crossover in Ann Arbor, Mich. last weekend.
Caylah Olay scored a combined eight goals on the weekend, including four in the 22-9 loss against Michigan. All three goalies spent time between the pipes, with Isabel Lumley leading the way with 23 saves against Brown and Princeton. Both were named to the CWPA Honor Roll this week.
