Ahead 9-3 at the end of the first half, the Red Flash tallied eight goals in the third quarter, outscoring the Tigers 8-5. Olay tallied the first goal of the quarter. After a response by Salem,
Sam Eschleman scored before Olay added another goal. Salem attempted again to narrow the Saint Francis lead, but goals by
Georgia Ellison,
Lucia Redaelli and
Claire Gebhardt kept the Red Flash out in front at 15-7. With under two minutes left in the third, Ellison and Gebhardt scored again, keeping out in front at 17-8.

Ellison and
Breeze Ohlson scored back-to-back goals in the first quarter to take a 3-1 lead.
Saint Francis shut out Salem in the second quarter, scoring six unanswered goals. Eschleman started the scoring. With 3:15 remaining, Olay found the back of the net, with Sarah Hartwell adding on a goal. Ohlson scored her second goal of the day before Hartwell tallied another. With 22 seconds left in the quarter, Olay scored the final goal of the half.
In the fourth quarter, Kayla Rhoads and Ellison found the back of the net, widening the Saint Francis lead to 19-9.
