THE WORD ON MICHIGAN
The Wolverines ended the regular season 17-10 overall and 9-3 against CWPA opponents, earning them the third seed. Michigan is also ranked No. 16 in the CWPA Women's Varsity Top 25. Ari Karampetsou earned All-Conference First Team. Issy Jackson made it onto the CWPA All-Conference Second Team. Goalie Sophia Bunnell and attacker Matilda Waugh earned honorable mention recognition.
Ari Karampetsou leads Michigan with 58 goals and 39 assists this season. Sophia Bunnell has 199 saves this season, leading goalkeepers.
LAST TIME WE MET THE WOLVERINES
The Red Flash fell to the Wolverines 22-9 in the CWPA Conference Crossover at Michigan.
Caylah Olay led Saint Francis with four goals. Adi Garges and Kayla Rhoads recorded three assists. Grace Raquel tallied six saves.
LAST TIME AT THE CWPA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Saint Francis fell to Brown 12-9 in their first game of the tournament but defeated Bucknell 12-6 in the fifth-place game.
Sam Eschleman and Emese Szucs each scored four goals against the Bears. Caylah Olay earned five goals against Bucknell. Isabel Lumley recorded 11 saves against Brown with another 12 against the Bison.
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash concluded the regular season with a 19-10 win at home over Salem on April 12.
Georgia Ellison and Caylah Olay led scoring with four goals apiece. Lucia Redaelli tallied four assists. Kayla Rhoads recorded four steals. Isabel Lumley and Grace Raquel both spent time as goalkeeper against the Tigers with six and two saves apiece.
