TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
With the score tied at 1, the Skyhawks scored the final six goals of the first half.
The Red Flash chipped away at the lead to cut it to a two-goal game twice but could get no closer.
FLASH MOMENTS
Hewitt scored Saint Francis's first tally of the game, tying the game at one at 6:17 in the first quarter.
The Red Flash scored four of the six goals in the third quarter to cut the margin to 9-5. Lacey scored off a pass from Heather Delbone at 11:49, and Christina Roncarati found the back of the net at 10:54. Lacey (7:01) and Givens (6:00) posted back-to-back scores to trim the margin 8-5.
The rally continued in the fourth quarter thanks to three consecutive scores. Lacey took a Mak Patten pass from behind the cage at 13:31, Victoria DiRenno converted an 8-meter goal at 10:54 and Hewitt had the bounce touch off a feed by Patten at 7:33 to bring the deficit to 10-8. After a Stonehill goal, Givens scored off a Lacey pass that started as a free-position attempt with 2:52 on the clock.

Lacey finished with her sixth hat trick of the season. The All-NEC first-team performer finished the season with 38 goals and 11 assists for 49 points.
Hewitt, the NEC Rookie of the Year, registered multiple goals for the seventh time this season. She finished with the second most assists (16), third most points (44), and sixth most goals (28) as a freshman in Saint Francis history.Â
Givens, an All-NEC performer, registered multiple goals for a team-leading 10 times and finished the season with 33 goals and one assist for 34 points.
Coughlin, an All-NEC second-team performer, finishes the season with 149 saves, a 10.45 goals against average, and a .456 save percentage. The senior set a new program record for goals against average in a season and ranks seventh in save percentage and eighth in save percentage. She has 321 saves, an 11.04 goals against average, and a .456 save percentage for her career. Coughlin holds the career record for goals against average and ranks sixth in career saves and just outside the top 10 in ground balls (80).
DiRenno posted eight draw controls to scoop up five or more draw controls in a game nine times this season. The senior finished with 85 draws this season, the third most in single-season history, and 117 in just two seasons, ranking seventh on the career chart.
Chyler Espino, a two-time All-NEC first-team performer, posted a ground ball and a draw control in her final game in a Red Flash uniform. She ended her career ranking in the Top-10 in draw controls (130, fourth), ground balls (107, fifth), and caused turnovers (49, ninth). Espino is the fourth player in team history to finish her career in the top 10 in all three categories, register 100 ground balls, and draw controls in her career.Â
Elizabeth Garcia, an All-NEC first-team performer, posted a caused turnover, ground ball and draw control against Stonehill. She set a single-season program record for caused turnovers with 34 and scooped up the third-most ground balls with 49 in a single season in Red Flash history.
Saint Francis' season ends after making the NEC Tournament for the third straight season and posting its third consecutive winning record in league play. It is the only three times it has happened in program history.
