Softball Makes Comeback Win Over CCSU to Advance to NEC Championship Game

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Softball defeated CCSU with a 3-2 comeback win to advance to the Northeast Conference Championship game.

TURNING POINT
Down 2-0, Addie Smith opened the bottom of the seventh with a home run. With two outs, AB Cipalla singled past the shortstop. Savannah Nash hit a home run to left field, walking off the game.

FLASH MOMENTS
In the top of the fifth, Smith snagged a ground ball at second base, making the turnaround play to Olivia Ulam.

Nash caught a fly ball at the fence over her shoulder to end the top of the sixth.


FLASH NUGGETS
Pinch running for Cipalla, Zoey Nussbaum recorded the tying run.

Nash went 1-for-4 with a home run, one run scored and two RBIs.

Smith went 1-for-2 with one RBI and one run scored with her solo home run.

Allie Braly pitched a complete game, allowing two runs (one earned) with three strikeouts.
