Softball Ends Season with Loss to Marist

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Softball dropped an elimination game 8-0 to Marist to end its season in the Bryan-College Station Regional.

TURNING POINT
Ahead 7-0, Marist hit a walk-off home run to end the game in the bottom of the sixth.

FLASH MOMENTS
Allie Braly ended the second inning on a looking strikeout.

Sofia Zielinski walked in the top of the fourth inning, advancing to second on a single by Aliya Garroway. She made it to third base on a fly ball by Annabelle Farmer but could not make it home.

Olivia Ulam doubled to right field in the top of the sixth, making it to third on a single to right center by Zielinski. Farmer loaded the bases by being hit by a pitch, but the Red Flash could not get on the board.


FLASH NUGGETS
Ulam's double moved her into fifth place in career hits with 202. She also now becomes tied for third in career doubles with 48.

Farmer and Ulam each tallied four putouts.

Braly pitched for five complete innings, facing one batter in the sixth. She allowed eight runs (all earned) with three strikeouts and five walks.
