Kerr broke the 25 minutes of silence in the first half. Set up by Dempster, she took a turn and dribbled past a defender before taking a low shot just outside of the goalkeeper's reach. Â
Within the last nine minutes of the match, Cleveland State scored diminishing Saint Francis' lead down to a tied game.Â
FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Lauren Persichetty started the first half out hot with a shot on goal at 8:03 but was saved by Cleveland State's goalkeeper.Â
Raine Korpics also had a great scoring chance at 30:00 and another at 71:34 but missed left.Â
Lucia Johnson tried to make a statement in the final minutes of the first half with a shot however she missed just high right.Â

Kerr's goal against the Vikings was her first career goal for the Red Flash. Kerr was a soccer standout at Greensburg Central Catholic, where she tallied a total of 122 goals in her high school career.Â
Holding the Vikings from taking the lead any further, Sawich totaled eight saves, three after Kerr's goal and three after the Vikings goal to keep the game knotted.Â
For the second year in a row, the Red Flash took the lead, Cleveland State tied it and ended in a 1-all standstill.Â
