TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
During Sunday's match between Saint Francis and VMI, the Keydets put a number on the board at 20:44. Not long after, at 22:33, another goal was put into the back of the net by VMI. After the first half, the Red Flash were out shot 14-1.
In the second half, Dempster answered back for the Red Flash, at 54:50, scoring a high right shot just out of reach of VMI's goalkeeper.Â
The Keydets added one more insurance goal at 77:13, creating a two goal lead.
FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Lucia Johnson had a scoring chance within the last 30 seconds of the first half, but was saved by the Keydet's goalkeeper.
Dempster, new to the Lo', scored her first collegiate Saint Francis goal.
Riley Kerr had an opportunity to put one in at 61:03, but missed left.
Raine Korpics had a few chances to score with three shots on goal at 73:26, 76:24, and 89:01, all saved by VMI's goalkeeper.
