FLASH NUGGETS
Saint Francis is 3-0 in NEC play for the third time in program history and the first since 2012. The Red Flash has won the first three league games four times, including its time in the Atlantic 10, with 3-0 starts in 2017 and 2018.Â
Marciano, who is the first player in program history to have four goals in one quarter, scored three goals in the second fastest time in program history in a match at four minutes and 11 seconds. Autumn Pellman had a hat trick in three minutes and 37 seconds against Lehigh on September 1, 2013. Prior to Marciano's performance against Merrimack, Pellman's five-goal output against Lehigh, and Selena Adamshick's five-goal performance against Pacific on September 21, 2023, held the program standard.
The squad is 7-3 for the second straight year in team history and is off to its second-best start in program history, behind only the 8-1 start by the 2014 team.
