GAME DAY INFO
Loretto, Pa. - It's Homecoming Weekend at Saint Francis University. The Red Wolves welcome new rival Saint Vincent College to Loretto on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Be sure to arrive early for the annual homecoming parade. It starts at 12 p.m.Â
New Rivalry
With only an hour drive between the two campuses, the Red Wolves and Bearcats could become an exciting rivalry in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
"We're excited to play Saint Vincent. It's a school with a similar mission, and just like Saint Francis they have passionate fans and a great tradition. I think this game could become the next big rivalry in the PAC." – Saint Francis head coach
Chris Villarrial.

Series History
Dating back to 1924, the all-time record between Saint Francis and Saint Vincent is 13-13-1. The two schools last played one another in 1978. Saint Francis prevailed 39-6. In that game, Ted Heisel returned a punt of 70 yards which stood as the program record for 40 years. In 2018, Nick Rinella broke the record with a 79-yard return for a touchdown.
Â
Making an Impact
Saint Francis (0-3) is after its first victory this season. The transition to Division III has resulted in a smaller roster size for Saint Francis as the program works to rebuild. As a result, several SFU players are being asked to play more than one position. Last week, against Case Western Reserve
Kameron Chisholm caught a pass at tight end and led the team with eight tackles on defense.
Â
Scouting the Bearcats
Saint Vincent (2-2, 1-2 PAC) lit up the scoreboard last Saturday, defeating Thiel 62-20. It was the second time this season the Bearcats scored 60 points or more. Led by junior running back Matthew Davis, SVC amassed 320 yards on the ground against Thiel.
One player to watch on defense is Nathan Parker. The junior linebacker leads the team in tackles (34) and sacks (3).
