LORETTO, Pa. - Saint Francis returns to Ohio in search of its first win of the season. The Red Wolves play Case Western Reserve University. It's the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Head coach Chris Villarrial's young team suffered a 46-10 setback at Hiram last weekend. Big plays hurt the Red Wolves from the start. Hiram scored on a 75 yard touchdown pass on the first play of the game and racked up more than 500 yards of total offense.

""We have to limit the big plays of defense. We told the guys make the offense earn their points," Villarrial said. "There were bright spots in the loss, but we need to be more consistent. If we play within the scheme it works."

Freshman wideout, Cole DeLattre scored a touchdown for the second straight week. And defensive end Ryyan Brown made some splash plays with a sack and blocked punt.

Saint Francis did find some consistency in the running back. With Elijah Villarrial leading the charge the team is averaging 141 yards per game.

Scouting the Spartans:

CWRU can score in bunches. The Spartans are averaging 32.3 points per game and have a headed monster at quarterback. Pierce Olsen and Sam DeTillio accounted for all five of the team's touchdowns against Westminster.

Saint Francis will also need to stop the Spartan rushing attack. Andy Kavcic has gained 569 yards on the ground this season, which ranks 11^th among Division III players.

On defense, CWRU has allowed 31.3 points per game, including 154 yards rushing and 210 through the air.  Sophomore defensive end Dominic Ghilani was named the PAC Defensive Player of the Week, following his performance in the team's win at Westminster. Ghilani recovered a pair of fumbles and forced a third, while finishing the game with four tackles (all solo), including one sack, and a pass breakup.
