NEC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
Last year Saint Francis finished the championship with the women with 91 points and the men collected 55.5. The teams combined for nine podium finishes over the weekend.
Sarah Colman took silver in the women's 500-meter dash with a time of 1:16.85.
Olivia Renk made her championship debut and collected bronze in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.82. The freshman also posted a 24.82 time in the 60-meter dash to place fifth. Overall, she registered 10 points.
Anna Quackenbush rounded out the top-3 finishers in the 5000-meter run by finishing third with a time of 17:32.00.
Jayden Foster finished with a mark of 7.15m in the men's long jump to collect bronze in his first Championship weekend.
Clark Gulycz became the NEC Men's Indoor Shot Put Champion at his first ever Championship with a mark of 16.75m (54' 11"). The freshman was ahead of second place Greyson Golda (15.22m) from CCSU by 1.53m.
LAST EVENT
The women's team accumulated three top 10 performances on day one.
Olivia Renk placed sixth in the women's 60m prelims with a new personal record of 7.68.
Taylor Foster finished in the women's long jump with 5.18m to take 10th place. Sophomore
Rylee Nicklas threw shot put to 10.43m to place 10th.
The men's team registered three top 10 finishes.
Tyler Craft took sixth place in the long jump with 6.86m.
Clark Gulycz claimed first place with a 17.26m throw in men's shot put.
Cam Wagner also threw shot put and took eighth place with a 14.23 meter throw. This was a new personal record for him.
On day two, the women's team accumulated nine top 10 performances.
Olivia Renk placed sixth in the women's 60m with a time of 7.72. Renk also placed fifth in the 200 meter with 24.93 as her time.
Gabriella del Pielago claimed 10th in the 400 meter. She finished with a time of 59.37.
Mackenzie Hirt ran a 2:23.34 in the women's 800m to take 10th place.
Karsyn Ford and
Claire Henry both placed top seven in pole vault. Ford cleared 3.45m for sixth place and Henry had 3.30m to take seventh.
Taylor Foster jumped her way into ninth place after a 10.50m performance in the triple jump.
Rylee Nicklas took fourth place due to her throw of 14.08 meters in the weight throw. The women's 4x400 relay team ran their way into sixth with a time of 4:04.36. This team consisted of
Adraya Baxter, Renk, Foster, and del Pielago.
The men's team registered five top 10 finishes.
Ayden Martinage competed in the men's high jump clearing 1.85m to put him in eighth place.
Dylan Andrews took third after a clearing of 4.55m in pole vault.
Tyler Craft reached a length of 14.06m in the men's triple jump. This leap put him in fifth place.
In weight throw two Red Flash placed in the top five.
Joseph Sevison took third with a personal best throw of 17.10 meters.
Vincent Franco followed right behind in fourth place with a throw of 16.70m.
NEC PRESEASON POLL
Saint Francis women's track & field was picked fifth in the NEC Preseason Poll. Wagner earned five first-place votes and earned the distinction of being the preseason favorite. Stonehill and CCSU both gained two first-place nods to finish in second and third place. Chicago State gained the last vote for first-place, finishing in fourth. After the Red Flash in fifth place, FDU, LIU, New Haven, Mercyhurst, and Le Moyne round out the ten-team poll.

Wagner gained one first-place vote to finish in second. Stonehill and Chicago State were picked to finish in third and fourth. FDU and LIU were both tied in fifth place, however, LIU earned the last vote for first-place. After the Red Flash in seventh place, New Haven, Le Moyne, and Mercyhurst round out the ten-team poll.
