The Red Flash celebrated Senior Day with a 20-7 win over Washington & Jefferson in the 3 p.m. matchup.
TURNING POINTS
Saint Francis and Washington & Jefferson stayed even early, tied 3-3 after the first quarter. The Red Flash took the lead in the second, moving ahead 6-4 at halftime. Saint Francis pulled away in the third quarter, building the score to 14-4. They stayed in control in the fourth and finished with a 20-7 victory.
POOL HIGHLIGHTS
Caylah Olay paced the Red Flash offense with five goals while also drawing three exclusions and adding two blocks and a steal.
Bella Castaneda added four goals, while
Megan Marlin and
Lucy Willis each had three, giving Saint Francis multiple players on the scoreboard.
The offense was guided by strong playmaking from
Aubrey Miller and
Lexanny Gonzalez, who recorded six and five assists, respectively.
Sofia Maioriello delivered a balanced performance with a goal, three assists, and two steals, while
Sarah Hartwell and
Laura Knight each added a goal to the scoring effort.
In goal,
Victoria Tamarit led the defensive effort with 13 blocks while also recording five steals and an assist.
