Saint Francis Men's Golf Opens Its Spring Season At the Carpetbagger Classic

OPENING TEE

Saint Francis men's golf opens up its spring season at the Carpetbagger Classic. The Red flash will be competing at Worthington Manor Golf Club in Urbana, Md., completing 36 holes over the two days. The team will make its first appearance at this event. Competing for Saint Francis at this two day event is Toby Webb, Hunter Jurica, Lukas Cascino, Trent Meyers, and Tanner Mona. Along with the Red Flash, Hood, Loyola of Maryland, Colgate, Saint Peter's, Rider, Wagner, La Salle, Mount St. Mary's, Mercyhurst, Gettysburg, Le Moyne, Howard, Monmouth, Canisius, Bryant, and host Binghamton will also be making their way to the tee box.

LAST TIME OUT 
The Red Flash last competed at the Old Dominion/OBX Invitational October 26 and 27 in Powells Point, N.C. The Red Flash finished off its fall season in 16th place, with a team score of 920. Senior, Webb, led Saint Francis finishing in 16th place with a total score of 217. On the first round, he recorded a 74, followed by an even 71 on the second round, and finished off one over par with a 72. He tallied 37 pars and seven birdies overall. On the senior's first and third round, he shot even for six consecutive holes (Round 1: Holes 13-18, Round 2: Holes 2-7). Each round, Webb, recorded under par on either the front or back nine. Jurica marked his score card with a 226 following the 54 hole invitational. The junior had a 51st place finish, recording a two 74s and 78 for the three rounds. Jurica tallied 34 pars and four birdies between the two days. For each round, he recorded one over par on the back nine of the course. Trent Meyers (62nd place, 228) and Lukas Cascino (82nd place, 272) also competed for the Red Flash. 

NEXT TIME ON THE GREEN 
The Red Flash will next compete at the Columbia Spring Invitational on March 30. Saint Francis will travel to Springfield, Pa., at the Rolling Green Golf Club.
 

NEW TO THE LO'
Saint Francis added Lorenzo DomianoNick HaughtCaden Miller, and Isaac Miller to the 2025-2026 roster.  
 

THIRD YEAR ON DUTY 
Coach Jonathan Kulas returns to the Red Flash for his third year. Kulas spent two seasons at Saint Peter's and was also the head coach at Penn State Scranton from 2019-21. Kulas was an assistant coach for both the men's and women's golf programs at Misericordia University for 11 seasons and got his start in coaching as a women's basketball assistant coach at Marywood University for the 2015-16 season.
