FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Tanner Mona, Toby Webb, and Trent Meyers are all tied in 54th place after the first round of the Carpetbagger Classic. Junior, Mona, shot just one over par on the first nine and four over on the back nine. He had four birdies and seven pars on the day, carding a 77 (+5). Senior, Webb, and junior, Meyers, matched scores on both the front and back nine shooting a 38 and 39, marking the scorecard with a 77 (+5) as well. Webb tallied 12 pars and one birdie. Meyers recorded seven pars, two birdies, and one eagle.
Lukas Cascino and Hunter Jurica also competed for the Red Flash. Cascino recorded an 81 (+9) and Jurica marked an 83 (+11) after the first 18 holes.
Following the first day of the Carpetbagger Classic, the top five teams include Mount St. Mary's (290), Monmouth (293), Colgate (295), and La Salle (296) and Gettysburg (296) tied in fourth.
