OPENING TEE
Saint Francis women's golf will travel to Batavia, Ohio at the Julie at Elks Run Golf Club. The Red Flash will compete a total of 36 holes, splitting between 18 each day. Along with the Red Flash, IU Indianapolis, Purdue Fort Wayne, Detroit Mercy, Oakland, Illinois Chicago, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Valparaiso, Southern Indiana, Ashland, Wayne State, and host Northern Kentucky, will all be making their way to the tee box. Six golfers will be taking the course including Robbin Zetrouer, McKenzie Gustas, Camille Gagnon, Meghan Zambruno, Abigail McCorkell, and Bryn Sorge.
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash competed at the Lady Bison Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. Saint Francis placed in seventh following the second day of the competition. Zetrouer led the Red Flash following the three rounds across two days with a total score of 231. The freshman shot a 79 (+8), 77 (+6), and 75 (+4) to round out the two days. She tallied 28 pars and six birdies. Zambruno rounded out the two days of the invitational with a total score 156 (+9) in 31st. The senior completed the 54 holes with scores of 79 (+8), 82 (+11), and 79 (+8). She recorded 24 pars and four birdies. The last time Zambruno was at this event was in 2025 where the senior finished in 45th  place and shot a 258. This time around, she shot 18 strokes better. Gagnon (T39th place, 244), Gustas (T46th place, 250), and McCorkell (T56th place, 260) also competed for the Red Flash. At the event, the top five teams include UAlbany (890), Howard (904), Youngstown State (908), North Carolina State (938), and UMES (946). The Red Flash trailed to Monmouth, who finished in sixth place, by four strokes.Â
LAST TIME AT THIS EVENTÂ
The last time Saint Francis made an appearance at this event was in 2025 during the spring season. Zambruno paced the Red Flash with a 24th place finish. McCorkell (37th place, 165), Gagnon (55th place, 165), Sorge (58th place, 170), and Anne Crumrine (67th place, 175) rounded out the Red Flash's five team competitors. McCorkell had birdies on the first and seventh holes with seven pars to finish the two rounds with two birdies and 15 pars. Gagnon carded seven pars in the final round to register a birdie and 13 pars in the two rounds, while Crumrine posted six pars on Tuesday and 12 in the 36 holes. Sydney Clements (44th place, 166) competed as an individual. She recorded seven pars in the final round, a birdie, and 14 pars in the two rounds.
NEXT TIME ON THE GREENÂ
The Red Flash will travel to Southampton, Bermuda to compete in the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate hosted by Lehigh. Across three days, three rounds of golf will be played at Port Royal Golf Club.Â

COACH CASCINOÂ BACK ON DUTYÂ
Cascino is in the fifth season of his third stint with the Red Flash and 13th overall. He was the women's golf head coach from 2005-12, for the 2017 season, and 2020-current. Saint Francis was successful in his first go-around with the women's golf program, leading the Red Flash to two consecutive Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships (2006 & 2007). In addition, he helped Saint Francis finish in the Top 3 of the conference postseasons in his first four seasons in Loretto. His son Lukas has joined the men's golf team for the 2023-24 season.Â
