OPENING TEE
Saint Francis women's golf is set to travel to Piscataway, N.J., for the Rutgers Invitational Saturday and Sunday. Taking the course for the Red Flash will be Robbin Zetrouer, McKenzie Gustas, Camille Gagnon, Abigail McCorkell, and Bryn Sorge. Golfers will complete 36 holes on Saturday followed by 18 on Sunday for a three-round invitational. Along with the Red Flash, Dartmouth, Penn, Seton Hall, Georgetown, Quinnipiac, Iona, FDU, Boston, Monmouth, Sacred Heart, St. John's (New York), Albany, Bucknell, Lehigh, and host Rutgers will all be making their way to the tee box.
LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis competed at the Bermuda Triangle Invitational hosted by Lehigh in Southampton, Bermuda, March 30-31. The Red Flash played a total of 54 holes over the course of two days, and the team finished in ninth place with a combined team score of 977. Zetrouer led the way for the Red Flash with a 32nd place finish. The freshman posted a total three-round score of 242. She tallied a total of 24 pars and three birdies. Gagnon placed 38th overall following the second day. The senior shot a combined three-round score of 245. Gagnon recorded 20 pars and four birdies after the two-day event. Also competing for the Red Flash was Meghan Zambruno (44th, 247), Gustas (57th, 256), and McCorkell (63rd, 267). The top five teams at the conclusion of the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate include Stetson (900), tied in second are UAlbany and Wofford (932), Morehead State (943), and Bucknell (945).
NEXT TIME ON THE GREENÂ
The Red Flash will finish off its spring season at the NEC Championships April 17-19. Saint Francis will travel to Ellicott, Md., and compete at Turf Valley Resort. Over the course of three days, the Red Flash will complete one round each day.

COACH CASCINOÂ BACK ON DUTYÂ
Cascino is in the fifth season of his third stint with the Red Flash and 13th overall. He was the women's golf head coach from 2005-12, for the 2017 season, and 2020-current. Saint Francis was successful in his first go-around with the women's golf program, leading the Red Flash to two consecutive Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships (2006 & 2007). In addition, he helped Saint Francis finish in the Top 3 of the conference postseasons in his first four seasons in Loretto. His son Lukas has joined the men's golf team for the 2023-24 season.Â
