Reagen Mangan and Morgan Tuffs, members of the Saint Francis women's tennis team, have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team. Mangan earns the distinction for the second consecutive season, while it is Tuff's first distinction. Kevin Titus Suresh and Beau Welker, members of the Saint Francis men's tennis team, have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team.

Mangan and Tuffs helped the Red Flash win its first NEC Championship, sweeping the three games of the tournament by a score of 4-0. Saint Francis then advanced to its first NCAA Tournament and fell to No. 7 Virginia in the first round.

Mangan, who registered a 3.54 grade point average with a health science-physician's assistant major, finished the year 18-11 in singles play, including 11-7 at No. 5 singles. The junior earned two wins in the run to the NEC Championship with a 6-0, 6-2 win against Le Moyne in the semifinals on April 16 and a 7-5, 6-4 victory against FDU in the NEC Championship Game to help the Red Flash to 4-0 wins on its way to its first title. Mangan also teamed up with Gabriela Almanza at No. 3 doubles to win all three of their doubles matches in the NEC Tournament to help secure the doubles point in each match. She was 14-14 in doubles play.

Tuffs, who boasts a 3.58 grade point average with a biology major and  pre-medicine concentration, was 14-13 in singles play with a 9-5 mark at No. 6 singles. She helped the Red Flash defeat Chicago State 4-0 in the NEC Quarterfinals with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Tuffs was also in the starting lineup for the NEC semifinals, championships, and NCAA First Round, but her matches were not finished before the clinching match. She was also 6-5 in doubles this season.

Suresh was named to the All-NEC first team after registering a 19-15 record with a 16-14 mark at No. 1 singles and 17-17 in doubles play at No. 1 doubles. The sophomore won the NEC Singles Championship in the fall to earn a spot at the ITA Masters in November. He also finished 4-2 at No. 1 singles against NEC play.

Welker posted a 10-12 record in singles and 13-17 in doubles action. The sophomore helped the Red Flash advance to the NEC semifinals with a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles to help the Red Flash earn the doubles points against Chicago State in a 4-1 win in the NEC quarterfinals.

In 2022-23, CSC changed the criteria to require that a student-athlete have at least a 3.5 grade-point average (in both undergraduate and graduate studies if in graduate school) and compete in 75 percent of the competitions.

Mangan becomes the first women's tennis player to earn CSC Academic All-District twice and joins 34 other student-athletes who have earned the distinction twice since 2022 and 52 student-athletes in program history. The women's tennis team has had a player named to the All-District team nine times. Since 2022-23, eight men's tennis players have earned CSC Academic All-District honors.
