LORETTO, Pa. – Monday September 7, the Red Wolves celebrates two seniors before the match:
T Ciaccia and
Julia Barto. Saint Francis matched up with Concordia University of Wisconsin, with the Red Wolves claiming a 2-1 victory.
Avery Bradburn registered the first goal for Saint Francis during the 51:15 mark with help from
T Ciaccia. Keeping the energy going, freshman
Emilie Gamache slammed in a goal with less than two minutes to go in the fourth period.
Sarah Ley sent a ball into Gamache for the assist.Â
Hannah Capo had four shots on the day with all of them being on target.
Bradburn was right behind her with three shots on goal and Gamache had one lone shot which was the game winning goal.
Madison Morrison recorded three saves on the day.
The Red Wolves return to action tomorrow, September 8, at 2 p.m. Saint Francis will take on Mercyhurst in Erie, Pa.Â
