LATROBE, Pa. – Saint Francis women's tennis made quick work of its newest rival in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tuesday night. From top to bottom, head coach Eric Hovan's team delivered a flawless performance in a 7-0 sweep of Saint Vincent.
In singles action, three Saint Francis players didn't drop a set. Playing in the top three spots, Helena Lynn, Morgan Tuffs and Sophia Cunningham all won their matches 6-0, 6-0.
In the No. 4 matchup, Julia Ritchey picked up her second win of the season, 6-0, 6-1.
Freshmen Nadia Zia-Ahmadi and Annaka Bruder continue to impress. Zia-Ahmadi moved to 3-0 on the season after a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win.
Playing in the No. 6 spot, Bruder won her match 6-2, 6-1.
Next Up: PAC league play continues Friday, Sept. 11, when Saint Francis hosts Geneva. The match at Mansion Park in Altoona, Pa., is slated to get underway at 6 p.m.
