What are your goals for the upcoming season? My goals these season is to of course get new person best in all of my events. Another goal is to go one step further then I did last season and make it to regionals. |
CAREER STATS
2012 Outdoor (Junior) - Recorded a personal best in the 100m dash with a time of 12.00 at the NEC Outdoor Championship, winning her the championship... Recorded a personal best in the 200m with a time of 24.57, good enough for sixth place overall at the Colonial Relays.
2011-12 Indoor (Junior) - Recorded a personal best in the 60m dash with a time of 7.63 at George Mason, she won the event.
2011 Outdoor (Sophomore) - Saw action in just two meets but posted season best-times in the 100 (12.33) and 200-meter dash (24.88).
2010-11 Indoor (Sophomore) - Finished fourth at the NEC Championships in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.70 … the time ranked as a career-best and was the second-best time an underclassmen at the championships … posted season and career long leap in the long jump at the Bucknell Heptagonal with a mark of 5.58-meters.
2010 Outdoor (Freshman) - Hurd was a member of the outdoor 4x100 Relay Team that took fifth with a time of 48.51, while also achieving a individual honor of placing eighth in the 100m with a time of 12.58 at the NEC’s Finals (5/2/10)…member of the outdoor 4x200m that took 13th with a time of 1:45.52 at the Colonial Relays (4/3/10)…set a career high in the outdoor Long Jump with a distance of 5.49m at the Father Bede Invite (4/24/10)…qualified for the finals of the outdoor 100m with a time of 12.55, placed ninth place with a time of 26.04 in the outdoor 200m, and took ninth in the Long Jump Final with a distance of 5.36m all held at the NEC’s Finals (5/1/10)…placed sixth while setting a PR in the indoor 200m with a time of 25.81 being less than half a second shy of qualifying for the ECAC regional
2009-10 Indoor (Freshman) - Set a career high in the indoor 400m with a time of 1:01.40 at the NEC’s Prelim (2/20/10)…placed seventh in the indoor 400m with a time of 1:02.21 at the NEC’s Finals (2/21/10)…set a PR in the indoor 500m with a time of 1:24.73 at the PSU Northeast (1/16/10).
HIGH SCHOOL: Accomplished sprinter that will contribute immediately... was a five-time national qualifier for AAU, as well as a six-time regional qualifier... won both state and district championships at North Carroll... eight-time First Team All-County selection in high school... holds four North Carroll records, three in sprints (100m, 200m, and 400m) as well as the long jump record.
PERSONAL: Coached by Rob Johnson in high school... daughter of Diane and Maynard Hurd.
